problem with wireless printer

Asked by Bart

Why does my new HP6500n wireless printer go offline and you can't "wake it up." When I installed it, it worked fine. If I reinstall it, it works find as long as I don't let my computer go to sleep or the printer go to sleep. Once they do, the printer will not wake up--it stays off line unless I reinstall the printer software. My computer, a new HP wireless HP can find it, but it says it is "offline." I'm running two desk top HP's, this laptop, a Netgear Router, and the 6500 HP printer. All the computers are running Vista Home Prem. All the computers can find each other and I have no problem with the internet so I think the router is ok. This is a new network that worked fine for the first few days--untill everything went to sleep.
