where to download hplip-3.23.5-plugin.run

hplip 3.23.5

hp LaserJet Pro 200 MFP M276nw Prints BUT Can't Scan.

Printer is compatible with latest hplip per hp Compatibility List.

Printer & Scanner worked fine in Windows.

hplip requires a plugin for Scanner that it constantly fails to download and install.

I think I've identified missing plugin as hplip-3.23.5-plugin.run ( https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/plugins ) but I can't find a download source.

Can someone please help? Thank you very much...Tom

On the page that you already identified ( https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/plugins ) hover your mouse above the text "hplip-3.23.5-plugin.run", press the right mouse button and select "save target as" (or "save link as", exact wording depends on the web browser that you use) from the pop-up window.

I did that but in my ignorance as a new Linux user, I don't know how to
install it.

If you still need the information how to install the plugin package that you have already downloaded:

open a terminal window and execute the commands

cd Downloads
sh hplip-3.23.5-plugin.run
