How should I ask a question about the website?

Asked by martin

My previous question was just expired twice. Is there another way than launchpad to draw attention?

Hi,

I had a suggestion to make a description at the website a little easier,
and I didn't get any response. So I was basically wondering how I should
give the suggestions in a way that somebody notices them. It is a bit
frustrating to invest a little time in it, and get zero feedback.

I guess I'll just do what everybody does with good suggestions: put them
on my own blog, hoping that google will index it properly. I think that
is a missed opportunity, because it is much easier to just have a proper
howto on the website where you get the software from.

Regards,
Martin

Sorry for the delay. We are very happy to take input, feedback, etc. on the
website. We have been a little swamped lately are were unable to quickly
respond. Thanks for your patience.

Maybe it would be a suggestion to set the janitor to less aggressive settings. It's not a hudge problem to be late on responding, but getting a timeout twice without a response in between is a bit frustrating to me.

I don't think we have any control over that (?) - its a Launchpad.net
automatic "feature". You could contact the Canonical team that maintains
Launchpad.net and make a suggestion.
