Having errer message OXB8299BBO on an HP5000 all in one printer I have no clue what it means but I am getting a white line across the printer screen when I try to print anything. Can you help me with that? Thankyou!

Asked by Bob Perry

Having errer message OXB8299BBO on an HP5000 all in one printer.

The printer tells me it is in error mode and I have to reboot it to get it back to normal. Every time I attempt to print, it does this to me.

I use it as a network printer and it works fine with windows or mac but not with linux mint cinnamin 21.1

I think I have something missing from this operating system because it works fine elsewhere.

Can ya help me?

Not sure what happened but I ended up re-installing the operating system and it worked fine after that.
