Photosmart - cartridges

Asked by jpcdb80

Hallo ,

I work on the notebook met Zorin OS. My printer is a HP Photosmart C4380 all in one printer.
The firmware is HPlip version 3.17.10
I always used the original cartridges.
Now i baught a compatible black en color cartridge ( not original)
No problem when i repacled the color cartridge. It works fine.
But the black cartridge is not accepted/recognized.
I heard that i can change the policy that only original cartridges are accepted in the settings. But i don't find it in the settings.
Can i get help ?

thx

Did you hear this from HP? Is it in the manual? Surely your issue
is with the cartridge vendor?

http://IP_ADDRESS from a browser. HP Cartridge Protection is
under Settings.

Hi ,

It seems hardware issue. It has nothing to do with HPLIP driver.
Request you to contact HP hardware team.

Can you help with this problem?
