deskjet 1115 error 5012

hp deskjet ink advantage 1115, i am running on linux mint 19.2
just installed the last hplip 3.19.8

got this error "device communication error 5012"
my printer is stopped and impossible of printing anything.

what should i do to fix it please ?

plus i dont understand why it identified my printer as deskjet 1110 series if it's an 1115...
does it matter ?

in the device information it says "unable to open device"

please help me

Hi

Please download the 3.19.8 plugin file from the following website :
https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/plugins

Install it using the below command
sh hplip-3.19.8-plugin.run

If the problem still persists please provide the hp-check and hp-dotor logs

hi !
thanks a lot for replying.

i tried to install the plugin file but it didn't work... terminal said:

error: Python gobject/dbus may be not installed
error: Plug-in install failed.

I tried some other things to configurate the printer.
i received this message :

HPLIP cannot detect printers in your network. This may be due to existing firewall settings blocking the required ports. When you are in a trusted network environment, you may open the ports for network services like mdns and slp in the firewall. For detailed steps follow the link.
