printer setup scx4216F

Hi Shivani,
Thank for replying but I have tried this too and it still does not want to install and run.
The following is what I get 😊
My Samsung scx4216F works fine with the windows 10 but just refuses to work with the Linux Ubantu OS.
I have downloaded the latest hlip 3.19.8.run driver for the printer and the scanner.
Once downloaded and extracted the following folders :
i386, Noarch, x86_64 and the following: install.sh, install-printer.sh, install-scanner.sh, uninstall.st, uninstall-printer.sh, and uninstall-scanner.sh files.
When double clicked to run the following error appears: Sorry this did not work no-url_to_app results to show comes up.
Please advise if anything else I can do to solve this issue.
It just doesn't want to install.

Thanks for your reply but your suggestion still does not want to work.
I have tried different driver versions without success. In fact I couldnt get it to work from the first install before I even installed my windows 10.
if you have any other suggestion it would be great. The following is what i get after install of Hlip driver.

Hi,

The suggested driver is for HP printers and not for Samsung printers. You need to install Samsung driver for your printer.
