Looking for a knowledge base, didn't mean to open a support request. How do I cancel this?

horizontal bands on an inkjet is likely due to dirty print heads. try
running the cleaning procedure from the toolbox.

Running the HPLIP Clean Head 1-2-3 procedures did not remove the horizontal faded bands from printed images. Removing the cartridge and pressing the print head agains a paper towel moistened with _hot_ water apparently unclogged the blockage and once again produced good-quality images. This is probably occurring because I am refilling my inkjet cartridge rather than replacing, which has saved over a $100 so far. I realize I will eventually need to replace the cartridge.
