J'ai une officejet 5610 tout en un et un ordinateur installé avec un système linux sur lequel on a importé le hpdevice manager

I have an Office-jet 5610 from sept 2008 and a computer installed with linux on what we have imported HP device manager:the problem: impression is normally available, but the function SCANNER is not possible.
Your hotmail 0848672672 is not in power to answer anything! and you?

the status of the question: no communication between hp 5610 tout-en-un

Please:other possibility
       or is the communication between the scanner hp 5610 and my
computer Linux totally impossible? Incredible , no !?

Thanks for the answer who have most astonished
my computer scientist and practitioner.
We have maked the test to disable Selinux
 with no result : the scanner and the computer does not communicate
together.
Please a more effective suggestion!

Please run:

/usr/lib/cups/backend/hp

and post the output.

It doesn't look like HPLIP is detecting the printer. Please make sure that the printer is connected to the computer and is not in an error state. Then run the above command.

   the scanner is now in normal function after my computer scientist
have installed on Fedora 9 a new package libsane-hpaio.
