How change association in preferences

"hplip-2.8.12-4 run could not be opened because associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences."

I want to download H D2545 driver to Linux system on my computer, but above message appears when I attempt download. Please advise as to how to proceed.

You have to run the installer in a terminal...
