how do i install hplip on a solaris x86 platform

Hi ,

 I have a hp deskjet F 380 printer and my laptop is running the solaris(x86) . i would like to configure the printer work with solaris on my laptop , i have also downloaded the hplip-2.8.5.tar.gz from http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/index.html. Can someone help with the steps i need to go through to get my printer working with solaris on my laptop.

Vinish,

HPLIP doesn't currently support Solaris. However this question will still be searchable should anyone have any information to add.
