HPLIP

Does the 2605DN work with HP/UX 11i?

We cannot add a 2605DN as an LP Spooler printer manually or through SAM on our RP7420 HP/UX 11i server. It does not respond to the HP Jet Admin configuration at all. Is this possible without additional hardware for the 2605DN?

Don,

HPLIP does not support HP/UX and we haven't tested HPLIP on HP/UX.

You may be able to in theory install CUPS and use the foomatic PPD file to add the printer to cups and printing -may- work.

Although this isn't tested and is unsupported...
