black print does not work

office jet 6500 black wont print. alreay performed cleaning. and head alignment per instructions. Have replaced the ink cartridge 2 times to make sure that wasnt the issue.

then i last time had such problem, it was "printout mode" fault, try:
in browser go to http://localhost:631 ->printers->you_printer->set "maintenance" and "set default options"->in "Printout Mode" set "Normal grayscale(black cartridge)"

P. S. you didn't say which repository you use, so i assume that your setup is same like mine(mine printer is older, hp psc1410) i use CUPS for managing printer and HPLIP for drivers.
