Hi,
Copy and paste the entire output of command 'hp-check -t' here. We cannot attach file to launchpad queries.
Can you please try to delete the device from printer queue and re-addit.
Thanks and Regards

This seems to have fixed the problem. Strangely, when the printer would
not print, I could check the ink levels. Now that it prints OK, I cannot
check ink levels. Feature not available. Could it have misidentified the
printer? Thanks for the advice.

Hi Paul,
Glad to know that printing problem is resolved. But strange to know that you are not able see the Ink Level. Please run "hp-check -t" from the terminal and post the complete output here.
Thanks for using HPLIP.
Thanks and Regards,
