What does the field type in the account dialog mean?

Asked by Edicezar

In HomeBank version 4.4 there is a field called Type in the Account dialog. But there is no explanation in the user manual. The picture in the page not even show the field.

What is the meaning of this field and what is it used for in HomeBank? Is there any special treatment for Credit Card Accounts?

I don't believe that it has any effect on how HomeBank works *YET*, although
I believe that Maxime is adding in changes that will group accounts of the
same type together in the main window.

Tks folks!

I'm trying to use Credit Card and Cash Accounts together with Bank Accounts. I'm much more interested in knowing where my money is going every month than having a fine control of the balance of each of these accounts.
Depending on the outcome I will send to you a case of my experience.

Regards,
