Good question, I'm not sure its actually a term. However, what I'm wondering is if there are other web interfaces which have been developed for graphite that people find really slick or helpful with publishing dashboards.

For instance, I publish a list of dashboards on our wiki that I have already created.
People need to click on each link to view the dashboard. This works ok.

Stopping short of creating my own trivial frameset, I figured there were people out there that had spent time building a web tool that would enumerate the list of available dashboards that graphite has available, which provides a shiny wrapper-ui so its easy to jump between the dashboards.

dont get me wrong, I like the graphite dashboard.
but its not a tool I want to give to bigger fish that just want their charts and graphs.

Was the Finder that's built into the Dashboard not satisfying your needs?

does it make sense to have a URL that one could request that would provide a list of the dashboard names and their urls in json format, to be consumed by some kind of dashboard ui for non-techops folks.

Can you help with this problem?
