Are whisper files fixed size?

Are whisper db files fixed size? (ie unless you resize with different rention policy they will never grow any bigger). I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, I'd just like the comfort of confirmation :)

Yes, whisper files are pre-allocated when they are created.

You MUST use whisper-resize.py on the files. If you change the retention rate, only new files will be affected.
