can I scan a recipe from a magazine and then download

I would like to scan recipes from magazines and then download them, search ingredients from them. Can I do this with this program? I am a Mac OSX user.

No -- Gourmet doesn’t have any OCR built in, so you’d have to either use another program to extract the text from the scanned image or type the recipe in yourself.
