Glance install hangup on filter_factory

In the process of upgrading to the FOLSOM release from ESSEX, configuration on RHEL - ESXi....

While starting the glance-api-paste.ini seems it isn't finding paste.filter_factory = glance.common.wsgi:filter_factory

Anyone else bumped into this and solved it?

Was thinking maybe its an old reference & need to rename the pointer or download new ini file

Hi Bob, what I recently found is that the .conf files have a [paste_deploy] section that points to the paste.ini file:

[paste_deploy]
# Name of the paste configuration file that defines the available pipelines
config_file = /etc/glance/glance-api-paste.ini

See if that helps.

Thanks Anne. We were able to find our configuration error and are now past this.

We recently hopped in with Christoph Lukas on two bugs

#1063885 AttributeError in vmwareapi

#1063889 MemoryError while uploading Image from Glance to ESX

They have decided to go to KVM over ESX

Do you know of anyone else working ESX as the hypervisor in their configuration?
