GNU Arm Embedded Toolchain

Could Cortex A5 be supported?

Our embedded system uses a Cortex A5 (Atmel ATSAMA5D36). We would appreciate having direct support available for that processor. Is this something that is likely to happen, or would I be better off learning to build these from source?

Thanks! https://answers.launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/+question/661295 says this should work for Cortex-A but they don't test as thoroughly. Alternate Linaro toolchain.
