Animation issues

Asked by Siniša Perović

When Gala animation is disabled (in dconf Editor) apps that are minimized to Plank cannot be restored or maximized in any way. Alt-Tab don't work, right click - maximize don't work, left click or double click also don't work. They can just be closed with the right button click on the Plank icon.

Personally I hate all those animations but from today (monday) I must use them or I cannot minimize and restore.

EDIT: One more thing. When closing the application with animation enabled the window does not "animate" properly. Instead I have an animation of new workplace sliding in every time I close any application, like I'm switching them.

EDIT 2: Sorry for this but I just realized something. I mention that one cannot restore a window minimized to Plank. It seems that Plank somehow react to restore in a way that it gets hidden although I cannot see the window. This is repeatable and when I minimize the invisible window again the Plank show it self. I'm using intelligent hide mode on Plank. So the Plank is reacting like everything is OK but I cannot see the window anymore once it gets minimized.

Thanx for your time and effort.

Since this is more of a bug report than a question, I've filed bug 1025907 for you.
