Hi,
I so new with yade. I would like to create a Horizontal rotating drum. I successfully made the vertical one.

Hi Elbasher,
Firstly, just want to ensure you are aware that ESyS-Particle and Yade are different Open Source DEM software packages. No guidance on the use of Yade can be provided via this (ESyS-Particle) user forum.
Assuming you do wish to use ESyS-Particle, rotating drums can be implemented as a triangulated mesh surface. Information on how to construct meshes using the gmsh software is available here:
http://
There are also some scripts to covert STL (stereolithograph) files into triangle meshes for both ESyS-Particle and GenGeo here:
http://
(These scripts can be found at the very end of that page)
To rotate the drum, you will need to use a Runnable that incrementally updates the positions of triangle mesh nodes.
Cheers,
Dion
