Installing Esys-Particle v2.2. on mac OSX

Asked by karen mair

Has anyone successfully installed Esys-Particle v2.2. on mac OSX recently? If so which version OSX - does it matter?
Any updates or tips in addition to the FAQ entry "How do I install ESyS-Particle on Mac OSX?"
Im currently running OSX 10.6.8 but probably upgrade unless there is a good reason to stick with the older OSX.
thanks!

Hi Karen,

I've not heard of anyone installing ESyS-P-2.2 on Mac OSX. Either that means there are no problems or no-one has tried yet! ;-)

The FAQ is still the only documentation we have on installing under Mac OSX. Perhaps Steffen can add some extra tips as he has installed ESyS-P on Mac a couple of times AFAIK.

Let me know if you strike any new problems. ESyS-P-2.2 has had some updates to the build system but hopefully these will only make configuration/compilation easier rather than harder.

Cheers,

Dion.

Changing status to 'Answered' to avoid automatic expiry of thread. The OP hasn't raised further issues as yet.
