White bars when in full screen?

Downloaded the latests and I am getting white bars when in full screen. Send me a nasty reply for complaing because I know this is still under development, but I just wanted to know if this is typical or if I was doing something wrong. Thanks.

Our goal as developers is to never send nasty notes because that doesn't encourage open source development in a way that is beneficial to anyone. I've also seen abnormal white bars when in full screen (my monitor is 5:4 aspect ratio).

You are correct when you state that we're still under development. Our main UI person is working on making the GUI resolution independent, and, as you've discovered, we don't have full screen resolution independence working yet. In the long term, Entertainer will always cater to widescreen monitors so non-widescreen will have a letterbox effect on the top and bottom. Resolution independence won't make it into our .1 release, but I can assure you that we're working on it.

When bug 224688 (Make GUI resolution independent) is fixed, we hope that you're problem will be gone. If not, please file a bug at that time. Thanks for your feedback.
