How to use the dvisvgm-win-32? The result, the svg file, is a little strange

Asked by shuimuzhixin

Dear teacher:
I am a graduate , and these days I am interested in the svg. My tutor and I are learning the dvisvgm program. We use the deisvgm.exe (dvisvgm-1.0.12-win32) to generate a svg from dvi file. But we donot know why the result is so strange. Some words are disappearing, some are false, some Chinese can't display. I don't know what should I do, maybe config something?
I am eager to learning this program. Hope you can help me, and thanks very much!
Looking forward for your help.
Best wishes!

Hi shuimuzhixin,

in order to help you, I need some more details about the problem. Please post a short example document (including the .tex, .dvi, and .svg files) that shows the issue. Also, add the command-line parameters passed to dvisvgm. It would also be helpful to know the application used to open the SVG file.

Regards,
Martin

Dear teacher:
I am sorry for forgetting provide my files(.dvi, .tex, .svg) to you. Because after I sent the latest email to you, I found that maybe it is not convenience for you to just read the word document in the accessory, though it has the picture of my files.
And dear Martin, I very hope to learn something from this, and thank you very much for your help.
Regards,
shuimuzhixin

Dear Martin,

Oh, it is a little strange. I do not know why. In fact, after I received the email from you(Martin Gieseking<email address hidden>) on Nov.1, I replied that email directly, and I have uploaded a .docx file to you in the mail attachment. And after that, on Nov.4, I also emailed some .tex, .dvi, .svg files to you in the mail attachment, too.
I use my 126 mail address. So I don't know why.
I am sorry that I do not use the Dropbox. So if it is possible, we can use email attachment.

Best wishes,
shuimuzhixin

Dear Martin,

I have already email you directly using the address you told me. But I am afraid of failing to email you again, so I want to make sure that my files have already been uploaded. And can you see it in the attachment this time?

Regards,
shuimuzhixin
