Client API prepared statements

Escape the strings and store the data in the INSERT statement (same as MySQL). mysql_stmt_prepare() is discouraged in MySQL because it tends to lead to server crashes (so all drivers have disabled it at this point).

We will be coming up with a new method around doing the above.

I have some downloaded python and for ex.elipse ,but nothing funktion.
Perheps I need to pey forit ,but I have Borland C++ and C and others.
Why can I not use anything yet.
I have Visual basic and othets but no good idea to try them under linux Mint .WHY are an amateur bu in windows I can use wort ever I wont.

32 and 64 bit:

OK, I'm sorry I don't understand your question, then. What are you asking for help with? Setting up Drizzle on Linux?

Hi Karl,

after going though your mails, i assumes that you are new to opensource.

the Linux distribution you are using (Linuxmint) is just a ubuntu clone. and it is binary compatible with ubuntu.
many of the drizzle fans like me are using ubuntu without any problem.
so drizzle should work without any problem in Linuxmint.

drizzles team uses GNU C++ (g++) compiler and other GNU tools.
so you don't need to buy or pay for a c++ complier. it is there in your Linux distribution.
just need to make sure that all requied softwares libaries are installed.

there are the packages / libraries you need to intall for compiling the drizzle source. please refere following link

there is a program called "synaptic package manger" in Linuxmint which can be used to install all requied software and libaries.
its a matter of few mouse clicks if you are connected to internet.
