Automatic save of a drawer's contents after sorting

Asked by John Rose

When I open a drawer, the contents (i.e. the launchers) are not sorted alphabetically. However, the last time I used the drawer, I sorted it alphabetically. It's a pain to keep on having to sort the contents on every opening of a drawer which has a number of launchers in it. It would be nice to have either a save included as part of sorting or to be able to save explicitly after sorting the contents.

The save-state seems to be broken in new versions (you get the option when
turning on individual settings). Workaround is to sort the drawer
alphabetically, then drag-drop an icon in the same position. Drawers will
now keep it in that sort order, new things continue to be added to the end.
