Firefox plugin does not map my Gmail bookmark

Asked by oshmoz

Hello,
  Firefox plugin does not map Gmail bookmark. It maps all the other bookmarks. I use Ubuntu 9.04 and Gnome-Do 0.8.1 from the repositories. I am aware of bug report 276041, but it says the problem is fixed, yet I still encounter it. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Osh.

Do you know how to use bzr and build software from source?

Step 1: Quit Do
Step 2: Restart Do from a terminal with the --debug switch
Step 3: Compile the plugin (this is all done in a terminal)
     $ bzr branch lp:~alexlauni/do-plugins/firefox-places
     $ cd firefox-places
     $ ./autogen.sh
     $ cd Firefox
     $ make
Step 4: Install plugin
     open ~/firefox-places/build in a nautilus window, launch the GNOME Do
preferences, and drag the Firefox.dll onto the preferences window. In your
terminal it should say "Installing Firefox.dll".
Step 5: Restart Do
Step 6: Test!

Thanks for the quick reply.

1) After starting Gnome-do with the --debug switch I removed the old firefox plugin, yet when I tested it, it still showed all my bookmarks (except gmail).
2) When I try to ./autogen.sh I get a message about not having autoconf and automake. Which package should I add in order to have them (I already added the bzr package)?
3) More info: I use Ubuntu 64bit version.

Sorry, that's too much command line for me. Can you send me the compiled plugin?

No, you'll just have to wait for the next release. It's fixed.
