DC++

download&search failures

I had my computer formatted about 2 weeks ago so I had to install DC++ again and upload my files.However,I am not to be able to download anything since then.Whenever I try to look at somebody's list,it says "connecting" and then simply "connection timeout".In addition to this,I cannot search anything,it does not seem to work.I checked my security settings out,nothing seems to be wrong.I could not get the reason.If you help me work out this problem,I would be so glad.Thank you in advance.
