Download queue opens the whole directory tree

Asked by komo

Nothing critical, but every time I open or reopen the download queue, it displays the WHOLE directory tree on the left side of the screen.

This can be pretty frustrating, since I usually download whole directories at once, which in turn my have subfolders, which in turn may have more subfolders etc. Thus checking whether or not a specific folder (especially so if the folder in question doesn't have subfolders, or only has few of them) has been completely downloaded may become difficult, since the directory tree is miles long.

Not that long ago I still used an older version of DC++ (can't remember version, VERY old in any case, maybe 0.4x?), and I don't remember this being an issue then.

Is there any way to set DC++ 0.75 up so that it doesn't open any of the subfolders? I've been combing the settings, but either it's not there, or I have just missed it every single time.

And to demonstrate what I mean:

this is what the directory tree looks like:

Download folder
  - Folder1
      - Folder1.1
      - Folder1.2
         - Folder1.2.1
      - Folder1.3
   - Folder2
      - Folder2.1
etc.

This is what I would like it to look like when I open the queue:

Download folder
   - Folder1
   - Folder2
   - Folder3
etc.

In your Download Queue on the bottom of your screen, do you see an item where you can check & uncheck folder expansion?

If you have the item checked, it must be expanded by default. The plus side having it expanded is that you can move and/or rename the folder.

If you have the item unchecked, it will only show the files & the folder directory is not expanded.

Yes, I've noticed that, but that won't do any good.
I still want to see the folder directory, since it's a very convenient way to check which downloads have been downloaded fully and which are not, I just don't want it to expand to the 3rd or 4th level subfolder.

Just like downloading or opening a file list.
It only shows shared rootfolders, it doesn't expand them by default.

this has already been noticed in bug 330176, follow it to know if/when it is fixed.

Can you help with this problem?
