For some odd and in my opinion a really bad solution, DC++ is now all over your C: drive if you installed by default...

1. The executable and such are under:
 C:\Program Files\DC++

2. The logs and incomplete folders together with hub- and file-lists folders are found under the
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\DC++ folder

3. The XML's and notepad, the HashIndex.xml and HashData.dat, the default downloads folder and the certificates are found under the
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\DC++

// LG

This article is an answer to your question: https://answers.launchpad.net/dcplusplus/+faq/92

What version of DC++ are you using if you are using Vista?
