ban help

Asked by sirrobbsoshea

Hello,

I get this ban message from my campus hub and was wondering how to fix it, if it can be fixed:

01:59] <spacerat> You're banned from this hub by Pathore because: Running 4(!) concurrent clients to get more than your share of slots is very bad and is cause for you to be banned.
[01:59] *** Connection closed

Any help will be appreciated i have no idea what i'm doing. thanks!

Developers of DC++ do NOT have any connection with people running any hub and can't give support about problems / rules of individual hubs. Contact to the hub staff with your problem.

I realise this, I just don't know what "Running 4(!) concurrent clients" means. If I did, I could probably fix it myself. I've looked over the FAQ, but thank you for you help.

The hubsoftware or the operator who banned you because they think you are ran 4 DC++ client paralel on your computer. As it probably wasn't the case...
There are many more hubs lots of them have smarter staff I think, but you know...

You can do this : connect to some other hub.

Can you help with this problem?
