DC++

i cant pull up any public hubs

I just downloaded the newest version and i get this error message when i try to download the public hubs.

"Download failed:an attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by it's access permissions"

sounds like your DC++ is being blocked by a firewall; check out the "Checking software firewall settings" section of <http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/webhelp/get_started.html>.

Poy i don't know i've tried all those things but i think it's more of a general computer problem, since i tried to re-download the current Dc file and it downloaded but there was errors and some of the other programs i tried like Itunes and Real Player wont download atall and i get errors even when i loop them thru the firewalls

Ok i found out that Zone Alarm was blocking my service and now its' working great.
