Connection timeout

Asked by AJR

I use DC++ 0.761 and I got connection timeout by some users.
I didn't use DC++ for a while and never experienced problems till a few weeks ago when I started using it again. First thought it was because a had an old client so Iupgraded to DC++ 0.761. But that didn't solve the problem
Then I thought wel mayby when I am a active user it might solve it, but that didn't solve the problem
Today I suddenly got a connection timeout with a user I have been downloading from for some time. I checked to see if the user had free slot and he has 3 free.

It is not that it happend to users from a specific hub all the hubs show the same problem.
Some users Ican download from and some give connection timeout

Can somebody explain why this ishappening and better still give me a solution.

This does not apply to the problem. The problem occurs also in active mode

I have a router and I used to download without problems and haven't altered any settings exept for creating a forwarding rule in the router to be able to set the system to active mode

think this is a router misconfiguration nothing more please check your settings and if your 100% sure then try to find the source of the issue
