I want to upgrade to a newer version of DC++ without rehasing al my files

Asked by Glortega

Everytime I upgrade to newer version I must rehash my files which takes a lot of time. I've tried saving hashed files to to the new version
without success. I hope for better success this time. Thank you.

That should not happen in most cases. IIRC the last new version what broke the hashdata was 0.68. So if you upgrade from 0.68 or later to the latest version and you have your settings files in the right place, in case of an upgrade DC++ will use all the existing settings so rehash won't happen.

and in case of you are in Vista or W7 : https://answers.launchpad.net/dcplusplus/+faq/92

If you tell what version you want to upgrade from you may get more exact answer though...

Can you help with this problem?
