For sites which are already using Launchpad to manage logins, we will work with community site managers to ensure their users retain their existing accounts after the switchover.

The Brainstorm site doesn't currently use the launchpad service so, when we make the service more generally available, there will need to be some kind of facility to help users match their Ubuntu SSO account to their existing Brainstorm account. The only example of this which I know about is on the Ubuntu forums but this uses different software so would not be directly installable on the Brainstorm site.
