How to change the font size in calchep_3.8.10?

Asked by GuanS

I encountered the similar problem to https://answers.launchpad.net/calchep/+question/700986 when I'm using the calchep interface. I tried to change the FontCurrent to something like '-adobe-courier-bold-o-normal--18-180-75-75-m-110-iso8859-1' in that link, but I cannot find it in xlsfonts list. And if I use other fonts in the list, then the maximum size I can use with ctrl+/- is only 12. If I continue to type ctrl+ then all the characters on the interface disappear. The system I am using is ubuntu 22.04 on a virtue machine. Help to solve this problem. Thanks!

I guess xlsfonts  gives   too short list of fonts
I think, you should load  other  X11 fonts in your computer.
Unfortunately I do not know how  to do it.  Please, try to find solution
in google.  If you will not have success, let me know. I'll try to find
solution.

To install additional fonts on your computer,
you should first list available fonts for the installation.

For example or
redhat, fedora, centos Linux this will be the command
sudo dnf list available "*fonts*"

On ubuntu this will be analogous command containing "apt-get" command

On mac you can use"brew" command to do this, but you should install it.
See this link for examples for mac
