problem in event generation

Asked by Basabendu

Dear Experts,

I am using calchep-3.7.4 to generate events for some BSM model via calchep batch. The model is correct and the batch is working, however, I am getting the following message in the terminal

"gzip: /home/basabendhu/Projects/hep_tools/calchep_3.7.4/ILC_EFT_Maj/batch_results/test-single.lhe is a directory -- ignored"

Instead of a zip file I am getting one directory named "test-single.lhe" and inside of that directory there is one file named "event_mixer.lhe". I expect that the batch would give me one "test-single.lhe.gz" file and extracting that I would get "test-single.lhe" file. Could you kindly let me know how to resolve this issue?

Thank you.

Could you install the latest CalcHEP version and check if it is gone, please?

I guess   Alexander Belyaev  keeps   in mind  the last version which
was not on WEB till now.

I have updated  CalcHEP WEB page just now. It contains
calchep_3.8.10.tgz  with  updated bin/run_batch  version 1.55

Best
