FeynRules mass defining effect in micromega

Asked by Anish Ghoshal

We are using Feynrules v2.0(.31) for implementing vector-like leptons (only 1 generation)with a vector-like SU(2) doublet and another vector-like SU(2) singlet. Just to clarify, we have an electron doublet (which has both left and right chiral components) and also a singlet electron (left+right). In the given SM model file, only one electron (defined under classname !) has been defined which is supposedly contain both chirality. Later the chiral components are defined as unphysical fields. Now, say, we define a single fermion(physical) field (just like in SM) which later is made into the doublet as well as the singlet states in unphysical definitions. But being vector-like, they can have different mass terms. We can write the mass terms in the lagrangian but when we run that in micromega,it is only treating the one mass-term defined in the physical fermion definition as the dark matter mass, and calculating relic density accordingly.I cannot then say, make my RH singlet Majorana mass term in the lagrangian as my DM mass.

If we define two (physical) fermion fields, then while running micrOmega there's showing a run time error of 'step size too small.........segmentation fault '!!
in short I am trying to reproduce ref :arXiv:1207.4235
What can be done ?

Send me your model, please. "Step too small" is a message from Runge-Kutta routine which solves evolution equations for
DM density. Usually it means that there is a problem with calculation of annihilation cross section. But in order to understand what is the problem I have to launch micrOMEGAs with your model.

Do you still have problem?

Dear Pukhov and Belyaev,

I have the same problem here, with a minimal BL model, where my dm candidate is a vector-like Dirac fermion.
The .mdl files I got from FeynRules.
I do not understand why.

Best,
Jacinto

Can you help with this problem?
