different behavior local and network drive

Asked by bwolfsohn

using bzr in windows XP
I have a project running on a local drive

started from exisiting code and directories with the typical

bzr init
bzr add
bzr commit
etc
from the top directory of the project

now i started a project from exsiting code and directories on a mapped network drive

did the same
bzr init
bzr add
bzr commit

when i look at the local drive/folder in explorer, all the bzr icons are there along with right click menu bazaar options and a tortoise bazaar menu ..

when i look at the mapped network folder with explorer, all i see is the tortoise bazaar menu, no other bazaar options, and no bazaar icons..

what did i screw up ?? <gg>

Since i enabled the option to show icons on network drives, the network card has been pegged at 100% incoming traffic (100MBS). If this a known issue with tortoise/bzr ?
