bzr branch .... ERROR

I was using the GUI of bazaar to make a branch, and I get this error

bzr: ERROR: https://code.launchpad.net/[....] is redirected to https://code.launchpad.net/[...]/+login

So the way I understand it, obviously, it requires me to login. But I dont really know how to...

Hi,

I guess you'll only see that if you try to access a private branch.

The easiest way to fix this is to type 'bzr launchpad-login' from the command line.

Actually, I tried to use the command line to "branch", but I kept getting this error https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/173890
,which I haven't been able to resolved yet. That's why I gave up, and moved on to use the GUI.

So bottom line, is there anyway at all that I can access a private branch via the GUI?

Yes, you can access private branches through the GUI. But if there is a network-level problem that stops bzr getting to Launchpad, as seems to be the case in <https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/173890>, the gui is going to hit just the same problem.
