Bug Description

This is a follow-on to bug 877195. As noted there, "Fixing this bug would solve bug 781274 (a critical regression) and bug 622668, thus marking this one as critical and adding notes there."

running run_jobs.py pofile_stats produced OOPS-ccca226ef6eeb1499bdb5ee0c2957372

ProgrammingError: permission denied for relation productseries

Looks very shallow.

This isn't fixed. pofilestats jobs are working for distro templates, but need an additional SELECT on productseries and product before they'll work for products.

Fixing this would _not_ bug 781274 as far as I can see: we still need to update statistics for POFiles that have not been touched but may share translations with ones that were. This was specified in bug 877195, but not addressed by the work on that bug.

These statistics were slow to update before, but as far as I can see we currently don't update them at all. The stats updater jobs have been disabled but POFileStatsJobs do not replace them. See bug 903532.

Just did a Q/A run on staging. There was only one job to be run, but it was for a productseries and it went fine.

May or may not be related, but a translator reported in bug 904012 that the statistics are incorrect even in Precise.

Benji has already picked up bug 903532, which should fix the sharing statistics (at least for new changes).
