Bug Description

Referring to a previous question, as below:

https://answers.launchpad.net/synapse-project/+question/136635
-----------------------------------------
Not sure if this should be a question or a bug.

I often use Gnome Do to open folders (not individual files) in order to copy a file there or something. It doesn't seem like Synapse allows you to open folders themselves, only files. Is this a side-effect of Zeitgeist?
----------------------------------------------------

I have been seeing this behaviour as well. The 'Directory Search' plugin is showing as enabled in Preferences. When I type a folder name into synapse, it returns files inside the folder, but the only way to open the folder itself is to tab and choose open folder.

It was working until a few weeks ago....

Is the fix available on version 0.2.6 ?

I'm using version 0.2.6 (from ppa). I'm experiencing a similar behavior. I only am able to open these directories: Home, Documents, Music, Pictures and Public. All other directories in my home are redirected to a file inside the directory.

Zeitgeist fault?

I've accessed the non working folders from Nautilus several times. Also, I've have opened several files inside those folders. No luck.

Any news?
Thanks in advance.

I made a mistake, this bug (as the main description said) was fixed in 0.2.4.1.
What you Werner and Etiam are reporting is a different bug, that will be fixed in 0.2.8 (fix already committed).
So, please, next time open a new bug (this one was fixed months ago) :)
And I'm almost sure that there's already an open bug about "Find most used folders".
