Can't Open Folders?

Asked by Kiran Sonnad

Not sure if this should be a question or a bug.

I often use Gnome Do to open folders (not individual files) in order to copy a file there or something. It doesn't seem like Synapse allows you to open folders themselves, only files. Is this a side-effect of Zeitgeist?

Synapse does allow you to open folders, that's what the "Directory" plugin is for, and you still need Zeitgeist to have something in the folder indexed, otherwise it won't be found.

The Directory plugin is active and files within the directory are indexed, but only files within the directory are listed in the results when I type the name of the directory.

It works fine here, please open a bug and give a few details there. (ie name of the dir, sample event from Zeitgeist which refers to a file within the dir etc.)

Can you help with this problem?
