Bug Description

Binary package hint: shared-mime-info

Please, upgrade the shared-mime-info.mo files using the latest translations from the Launchpad template [1]. The current shared-mime-info.mo supplied in the latest Lucid Live CD (20100318) does not contains many translations which were translated several months ago.

For example, the following translations are not in the shared-mime-info.mo, and were translated in September 2009 (almost six months ago):

Added Launchpad-Translations because it seems to be a Rosetta problem in
the .mo files generation during language packs building (seems to be using an outdated version of the translations).

The issue is probably not a launchpad one, but shared-mime-info build a translate xml and don't use gettext so the source need to be update with an export from launchpad, I will do that before lucid

Gabor started creating a table at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NonLanguagePackTranslationDeadline#Rebuilding%20packages to track all similar packages which need translations to be exported and rebuilt before release.

I've added this bug to the table to keep track of this. For everyone involved in translations: please feel free to complete the table and add more packages if you detect any other which might need export and rebuild.
