Bug Description
zim 0.28 / kde3.5.10 / Kubuntu 8.04.
and kde 4.2.2 / Kubuntu 9.04
If I have (say) two notebooks open, and am using the tray plugin
there appears to be no way to close just one of the notebooks.
Closing one closes them all.
With 2 notebooks open,
If I am not using the tray plugin, what happens is:
. x in top rhs -> closes that notebook only
. file/close -> closes that notebook only
. file/quit -> quits both zim notebooks
But with 2 notebooks open, using the tray plugin
(but not using perl-gtk2-tray, so each notebook has its own icon in the system tray)
what happens is:
. x in top rhs -> minimizes that notebook to systray
. file/close -> minimizes that notebook to systray
. file/quit -> quits both zim notebooks
I think what should happen is:
. x in top rhs -> minimizes that notebook to systray
. file/close -> closes that notebook only
. file/quit -> quits both zim notebooks
Note: If I install perl-gtk2-tray
only difference is that both Zim notebooks have the same tray icon
which is less convenient.
By not installing perl-gtk2-tray, both Zim notebooks have different icons in the tray.
But there is no difference to the close behaviour described above.
There should be a way of closing one notebook only,
and the closing behaviour with / without using the tray should be consistent.
