Bug Description

seen in 14.10 (with the current gcc-4.8)

  https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glibc/2.19-4ubuntu2

same results when built with gcc-4.9 in utopic.

and in 14.04 LTS (with an updated gcc-4.8 and binutils-2.24)

Encountered regressions that don't match expected failures (debian/testsuite-checking/expected-results-powerpc64le-linux-gnu-libc):
