Bug Description

Trying to report a bug in the Help-menu of gcalctool doesn't do anything, which is why I try to report bugs using get online help in the Help-menu, which does work.
To be sure: the bug I report here is that the button for reporting bugs in gcalctool doesn't work :)
I should mention this is in the latest trial version of Gutsy, fully updated.

This is a follow up to a question that I asked before, which was answered, asking me to file a bug report instead. So here it is :)

System is fully updated, which I also mentioned in the report. I'll try again tomorrow after the updates of tomorrow and see what happens...
Note this is only in gcalctool, in Gutsy, as far as I know. In kst the reportong of a bug works OK.
The bug reporting in gcalctool in Feisty is also OK (on another computer, I have to add)

I updated my system today, tried this bug reporting tool (Gutsy, gcalctool) again but it still doesn't work. It still appears to do nothing at all. Sorry for this.

Tried to confirm this on up-to-date gutsy x86. Apport seems to be quite slow, but working.

Thanks for your comment.
The computer I am testing Gutsy on has enough RAM (512 MiB), but the processor is indeed a bit slow (500 MHz). Still, I am waiting now for over ten minutes for it to respond to my selecting it to do a bug report, and still it doesn't do anything. In other applications the response is (almost) immediate.
So at least practically on my computer the bug report in Gcalctool doesn't work.
The computer is updated with the very latest updates. This I do on a daily basis.

I guess the bug report tool in Gutsy now works, after installing Gutsy tribal 5 and reinstalling gcalctool.
That is: information concerning the "problem" is collected, after which Launchpad is opened.
It was not slow either as someone else reported it was.

So why it did not work in Gutsy tribal 4 (and 3, on this same computer) I don't know but in tribal 5 it seems OK.
I guess the problem can now be regarded as closed
