edits not saved after app restarted

contacts-demo-app from trunk
This is very easy to reproduce. The bug appears to be that the saved edits are not saved in the services cache, so if you close them restart the app you don't see them. Only see the changes if you restart the service.
Steps:
- run contacts-demo-app
- select and contact and edit their last name
- press save
- press back
- select the contact again and verify the changes are still there (this works)
- now close the app
- restart the app
- select the same contact and notice that the changes are not there (BUG)
- now close the app and kill and restart address-
- when you run the app now you will see the proper edits show up. So it actually got saved but not given to the app until service restarted.
