This bug was fixed in the package gtk+2.0 - 2.24.17-0ubuntu2

gtk+2.0 (2.24.17-0ubuntu2) raring; urgency=low

  * restore 2.24.16-1ubuntu2 dropped by error (not commited to the vcs),
    should fix multiarch issues (lp: #1160024)
